After intense debate we have decided to endorse Sam Rasoul over Drew Richardson for the Democratic nomination to serve Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District in Congress. Sure Sam has sort of a strange website, but we think he is the kind of young and inspiring candidate to help the Democrats become more competitive in the valley. Go Sam ’08!
This is seriously the best photo I could find of the man.

A Rasmussen poll this morning shows comedian Al Franken with a 49-46 lead over incumbent Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman. This is a huge jump for Franken since the last poll I saw a couple months ago. What’s more significant for Franken is not so much the fact that he is up three points, but that he is attracting 49 percent of the vote. This is very significant for a challenger eight months before the election and shows that his support is not just per name recognition.
